Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise policy sales and monthly written premiums in a compliant and customer-centric manner
  • Respond professionally and courteously to leads and customer interactions
  • Execute the sales process with knowledge, diligence, and integrity
  • Upsell additional products where available
  • Use effective interpersonal and communication skills to gain customer acceptance
  • Accurately identify customer needs by asking relevant questions and listening attentively
  • Match product benefits to customer needs and demonstrate value
  • Handle objections with appropriate responses
  • Strive to become an expert through observation and collaboration
  • Continuously develop skills through feedback and practice
  • Share insights and ideas to enhance the teams effectiveness
  • Remain self-motivated and manage time efficiently, especially when working remotely

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • RE5 (Required)
  • FETC: Short-term Insurance NQF4 or higher (Required)
  • Must meet all regulatory requirements (e.g. DOFA period, FAIS Fit & Proper)

Experience and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3 years call centre sales experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in term warranty/service plans (essential)
  • Fluency in English, plus one additional official language
