Life Sales Agent

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise policy sales and monthly written premiums in a compliant, customer-centric manner
  • Provide professional, responsive service to lead providers and customers
  • Execute the sales process with diligence, integrity, and comprehensive product knowledge
  • Upsell additional products where applicable to optimise each customer interaction
  • Utilise effective communication and interpersonal skills to promote product acceptance
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis through strategic questioning and attentive listening
  • Match product benefits to customer needs and clearly demonstrate value
  • Address and overcome objections with appropriate, informed responses

  • Commit to continuous improvement through feedback, observation, and collaboration
  • Share insights and contribute ideas to improve team effectiveness

  • Exhibit self-motivation, productivity, and efficient time management, especially when working remotely
Minimum Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12

  • RE5 Certification

  • Must meet all regulatory requirements (e.g. DOFA period, FAIS Fit & Proper)
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a call centre sales environment

  • At least 1 year of outbound telesales experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the life insurance industry

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in at least one additional official language is required
