One of the worlds leading logistics and transportation companies is hiring a Terminal Manager to oversee operations at their high-volume Toronto terminal. With over 10,000 employees globally, this company runs one of the most advanced freight networks in North America. The Toronto terminal houses more than 500 team members across operations, admin, and dispatch and they're looking for a proven leader to drive performance and profitability.
What You'll Do:

Lead day-to-day operations of a large-scale terminal handling FTL and LTL freight across Canada and cross-border

Manage daily P&L and performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and profitability

Oversee safety, compliance, scheduling, labor planning, and equipment utilization

Collaborate with national leadership on strategy, workforce development, and customer service improvements

Identify and resolve bottlenecks in routing, dock operations, and linehaul performance

Ensure a strong workplace culture, drive accountability, and manage a team of supervisors and frontline staff
What Were Looking For:

8+ years of experience in terminal or transportation operations management, specifically within FTL/LTL ground freight

Proven success overseeing large-scale logistics teams (200+ employees preferred)

Strong command of P&L responsibility, KPI reporting, and operational budgeting

Knowledge of Canadian transportation compliance, fleet regulations, and cross-border procedures

Experience working in a 3PL or asset-based trucking environment

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor, manage, and scale performance
