Job Summary

     The Senior Customer Service is responsible for independently handling end-to-end import and export shipments for both Air and Sea freight. This role requires strong operational knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a service-oriented mindset to ensure smooth shipment execution and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage import and export shipments for Air Freight and Sea Freight (FCL /LCL).
  • Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
  • Monitor shipment movement from origin to final delivery and ensure on-time performance.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for customers and overseas agents.
  • Provide proactive shipment updates and handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Prepare, review, and control shipping documents including AWB, HAWB, HBL, MBL, Invoice, and Packing List.
  • Ensure compliance with Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, DDU, DPU) and internal SOPs.
  • Coordinate with customs clearance teams to ensure smooth declaration and cargo release.
  • Verify operational costs, destination charges, and overseas agent invoices.
  • Support billing accuracy and GP control in coordination with Sales and Accounting teams.
  • Handle shipment issues such as delays, space constraints, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Provide solutions and escalate critical issues with proper analysis.
  • Guide and support junior Customer Service staff.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customs, Trucking, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Experience handling Import & Export shipments for Air and Sea Freight.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to manage shipments independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong coordination, time management, and service-minded attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
