Observability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain observability pipelines across logs, metrics and traces
• Standardize alerting rules, SLOs and dashboards across multiple environments
• Troubleshoot performance issues and enable data-driven incident response
• Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to embed observability into CI/CD workflows

Must-have:

• Experience with observability stacks (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Datadog)
• Understanding of distributed systems and telemetry concepts (OpenTelemetry, etc.)
• Ability to design actionable alerts (low noise, high signal)
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with Checkmk or similar monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Icinga, etc.)
• OpenTelemetry implementation experience
• Relevant certifications (Grafana, Prometheus, SRE, etc.)
