vessels! We're looking for dedicated individuals to join us as an Assistant Cook! This is an

incredible opportunity to work aboard one of our ships and work within one of the largest culinary

teams at sea!

A big part of our guests' vacation is the incredible range of restaurants and dining venues onboard.

The Culinary Arts team serves as the backbone of that operation. As a member of our hardworking

team of cooks and chefs, Assistant Cooks are learning the ropes in the vast Culinary operation on

board, supporting various functions that can lead to career opportunities within the department. A

day in the life of an Assistant Cook could involve the following:

Food preparation across a range of Culinary areas

Following recipes and supporting Culinary leadership

Ensuring specifications are followed to ensure quality and consistency

Ensuring high levels of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained, all in keeping with

Company and USPH standards

Supporting logistics, preparation, and other Culinary tasks

You will be a real foodie who has an eye for detail and enjoys being part of a large, diverse, and

Arrive at work on time in a clean and company-specified uniform

Learn to maintain the quality and presentation of all food served and the expedition thereof

Learn and follow all USPH and HACCP procedures in food production and galley

maintenance

Assist the cooks in production and servicing the lines

Learn to follow all recipes to company specifications

Communicate and cooperate with all other team members to ensure a smooth food delivery

system

Ensure garbage separation standards are being followed

Perform all other tasks assigned by senior management

Position Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or cruise ship environment

Must have worked in a high-volume professional culinary environment

Strong comprehension of the English language

Must be physically strong and able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs to sustain physically challenging work

Ability to work as part of a team and independently

At least 21 years old
