As part of our amazing Engine Team Welders help to maintain and repair our ships by ensuring that any required welding is completed. Welders play a vital part in ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and all outlets inboard are maintained correctly to ensure we can provide the best amenities and services to our guests to ensure they have a FUN and memorable vacation! You will enjoy working both on your own and as part of a larger team you will be hardworking and like challenge bit also like to Have FUN!

Your Responsibilities and Tasks:
EnsurIing that all work permits are issued and signed, before starting jobs
Ensuring that Fire Patrol has been assigned and is present before any hot work is started.
Ensuring all welding devices are properly and safely stored upon completion of work
Checking and keeping in good order all welding devices and ancillaries. Reporting to staff
Chief Engineer any malfunction or failure of welding equipment.
Keeping in perfect order and cleanliness the welding workshop including oxygen and gas
storage rooms.
Ensuring that all aspects of company occupational health and safety are effectively applied
during all working activities.
Reporting to Staff Chief Engineer and requests refilling and welding gasses/oxygen bottles
without exceeding storage capacity.
Adhere to all environmental policies and procedures
Fully participates in all safety training and drills.
Minimum Requirements: What do you bring to the table?
Minimal 12 months of proven experience as a Welder
High School Diploma, Technical training
Basic STCW Trainings
English Language proficiency
Follow Carnivals Occupational and Health policies and procedures at all times
Ability to work well with a team
Being a representative of the Carnival Brand
Contract Length 6 months
