About the job Commi Chef
Part of our hardworking Galley team Commis are responsible for following recipes and specifications to ensure quality and consistency of the meals they produce as well as ensuring the highest level of sanitation is maintained, all in keeping with company and USPH standards. You will be a really foodie who has an eye for detail and enjoys being part of a Large diverse and busy team where no two days are the same but there is always FUN! Joining Carnival as a Commis is the first step towards a rewarding career as part of our amazing Galley Team! To maintain the quality and presentation of all food served To follow all USPH and HACCP procedures in all food production and galley maintenance. To assist the cook in directing and leading the trainees To serve food on the service lines, and present it to company specifications To follow all recipes to company specifications, and avoid wastage. To communicate and cooperate with all other team members, to ensure a smooth food delivery system To ensure garbage separation standards are being followed To perform all other tasks assigned by senior management. To advise Superiors on different or inferior products being received. To ensure al ECP and Environmental regulations and procedures are followed with specific regard to garbage separation To maintain Hospitality standards at all times towards Crew and Guests.
