About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Marketing & Operations Project Coordinator who can support a fast-growing e-commerce retail brand based out of Los Angeles and its founder by owning execution across marketing initiatives, trade shows, content projects, and internal coordination, while also providing light executive support where it helps streamline the business.
The ideal candidate has a background in marketing and/or project management, is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces without constant direction.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Project Management
- Coordinate marketing initiatives such as trade shows, presentations, content creation, and campaigns.
- Build and maintain simple project plans to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and stakeholders stay aligned.
- Work with designers, video creators, and external partners to move projects forward.
- Support the preparation of marketing assets, presentations, and materials.
Trade Shows & Events
- Support trade show planning and execution by: Understanding requirements and objectives, managing timelines and deliverables, coordinating booth design, materials, and presentations and ensuring follow-ups are documented and executed.
Content & Brand Support
- Help coordinate content creation efforts (video, social, marketing assets).
- Assist in building and maintaining content calendars.
- Support publishing or scheduling content when needed.
- Ensure brand consistency across materials and channels.
Operational & Executive Support
- Help manage the founders inbox by organizing, prioritizing, and responding to routine communications.
- Track follow-ups, action items, and commitments to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Support internal coordination across marketing, sales, and external partners.
Requirements
- 4+ years in project management, operations or marketing within fast moving environments
- Experience working in marketing agencies, fast-paced startups, or project-based environments preferred
- Strong stakeholder management with clear concise written and verbal communication in English (C1-C2)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across time zones and to hold teams accountable to deadlines
- Customer facing presence for partners and sponsor communications including live calls and follow ups
- Tech savvy problem solver who anticipates needs proposes solutions and executes with minimal oversight
- Comfortable collaborating with creatives, salespeople, and leadership.
- Availability to align to US Pacific Time zone and to support occasional trade show related peaks

Additional Information:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor
- Work Hours: 9am to 5pm PST (flexible)
