About the Role

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a next-generation studio and streaming platform that is redefining how entertainment is made and delivered. 

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative web applications, including a creator portal, a cutting-edge streaming platform, and connected TV HTML5 applications. You will shape architectural decisions, guide best practices, and mentor other engineers while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web-based applications, working on both server-side components and modern React UIs
• Drive architectural decisions and define best practices for an evolving tech stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment with short iteration loops
• Write maintainable, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code with strong automated test coverage
• Apply expertise in the media domain, including working with media files, transcoding, and online playback, to build performant and robust solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers
• Leverage AI coding assistants such as CoPilot, Cursor, or WindSurf to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in full-stack web application development with a history of delivering successful products
• Expert proficiency in TypeScript for front-end and back-end development
• Extensive experience with Node.js, Express, Drizzle, React, and Vite or similar technologies
• Experience leveraging AI-powered coding assistants for enhanced productivity and code quality
• Deep understanding of storage systems such as Postgres, Redis or Valkey, and S3 or Wasabi
• Strong expertise in Git version control and practical experience with GitOps workflows
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM PST
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
