Were looking for an ambitious, entry-level candidate who is eager to build a career in Sales Development (SDR). This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lead generation and outbound sales outreach, while working alongside an experienced Project Manager and contributing to the growth of Appulatea leader in insurance technology.
What Youll Be Doing
- Engage in a typical SDR workflow, including outbound sales activities
- Research insurance-related businesses (agencies, wholesale brokers, MGAs, carriers) using LinkedIn, HubSpot, and other tools
- Identify key decision-makers and initiate outreach using templated emails and cold calls
- Collect and maintain accurate prospect data (company name, contact info, etc.)
- Stay up to date on all product developments and offerings
- Clean and update lead databases to ensure data accuracy
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets
- Consistently perform outreach through contact sourcing, cold emails, and calls
Who You Are
- Ideally 1+ year of experience in marketing or lead generation (not required - training provided)
- Proficient in Excel (handling large datasets); technically and analytically skilled
- Familiar with outbound sales and pipeline generation processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to following processes thoroughly
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
- HubSpot and Wiza experience would be advantageous

- Dual monitors (laptop screen counts as one), headset, webcam
- Hardwired internet connection (LAN cable; not Wi-Fi)

What We Offer
- 100% remote position with working hours aligned to PST (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday)
Preferred core hours: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time) - Dependable salary
- Up to 10 working days of paid vacation per year
