About the Role

Orchata is looking for a self-motivated and disruptive Head of Marketing with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, successful startup environment. As Head of Marketing you will create the company brand as well as attract users.  We are looking for a person with strong experience as Head of Marketing.

We don’t want you to help build another product, but THE product.

This is the app of the future. 


What You’ll Do

  • Create a Marketing strategy

  • Build a brand that speaks and relates to our customers

  • Create amazing and creative marketing campaigns that connect us with our customers

  • Manage our community and grow an organic base of followers

  • Build our brand post purchase to help build a community

  • Lead and analyze ad campaigns on social media

  • Use A/B testing to understand what messages better speak to our customers

  • Gather insights from customers to share with the team on how to better create an app for them

  • Secure several relationships with influencers that targets our ideal customers

What the Candidate Will Need

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing

  • E-commerce is a plus

  • Marketplace experience is a plus

  • High growth startup experience is preferred

Required skills

  • Are an amazing writer -and have been complimented on it several times-

  • Can empathize with a market and customers to create relationships with them

  • Fast is your normal pace

  • Can create expectations that are heavily metric oriented

  • Ability to empathize with a variety of people -from our CEO to our delivery personnel-

  • Strong organizational skills and has a keen eye for detail

  • Prioritizes customer success amongst everything else

  • Desire to build something awesome

  • Has a passion for building messages and campaigns that are outside of the ordinary


Extra magic points if you have

  • Previous experience working early stage startups, e-commerce platforms or SaaS.
