We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases and ETL processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
- Write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Optimise existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability.
- Independently conduct data requirement analysis, model design, development implementation, and provide go-live support.
- Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively with business teams and overseas stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position; no expats.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in SQL Server development, including participation in at least 2 complete data-related projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, with strong skills in SSIS.
- Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL logic.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Capable of basic technical communication in English.
