Contract role


Responsibilities:

Servers: system administration and configuration, batch processing and job scheduling, current security standards implementation, hardware monitoring, regular patching of supported systems, remediating discovered issues, and lifecycle support.

Local network/Wi-Fi: physical device installation, and logical connectivity support (e.g., port to VLAN changes), participation in new design, coordination of installation and changes of network, device lifecycle, participation in network issues troubleshooting, support in firmware upgrades.

Storage: Coordinate and educate location on new standard storage solutions including lifecycle and break fix. – Verify with team if we actively create share drives/folders.

Data center: hardware installation and cabling, accompany external personnel (e.g., for installations), infrastructure monitoring, MiConDis assessment and support in compliance assurance, approve access to DC. Maintain IT related items for the iITEM documentation. Backup/restore: Coordinate and educate location on new standard backup solutions. Run quarterly test restores to validate integrity of backups.

Printing: Lifecycle management of on-site printers and support along with managing external vendor for print services and escalations.

Telephony: phone number assignment to end users, conference room devices installation, and cooperation with local telecom operators (e.g. support maintenance visits). Manage lifecycle for current telephony standards. Helping locations move from existing telephony systems to the standard Teams telephony solution.

Workplace End User Computer: Manage lifecycle of end user devices including end user support for hardware and software.

Audits: engage in internal and external audits, assist plants with addressing security breaches identified by global teams or monitoring systems (i.e. TISAX,ITAF,DQS, ISO) Local Applications: Best effort support for local applications and helping the business understand global standards and guiding them to properly manage their applications.

Production Target Operating Model: by Digital Advisor role represent locally the global IT and promotes digital solutions, acts as an internal partner actively supporting business to digitalize operations, shares with business knowledge of available IT technologies, tools and solutions. Support business in the area of LAN connectivity within production floor in the production area.

Global and local projects /changes: leverage proximity to the business, apply expertise in local plant specifications and utilize knowledge to play a pivotal role in each global initiative, project rollout and implementation. Share valuable insights and educate end users, provide post-implementation support and proficiently address any issues that may arise. Convey the wisdom gained from analogous projects implemented in various plants and actively contribute to the transition to digitized processes, advocating the adoption of existing solutions.


Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or other related discipline

Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Excellent Analytical skills. Excellent leadership skills in leading Globally distributed team of internal and external partners.
