Perform tooling set-up and run machine according to procedures and meeting quantity and quality expectations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Take charge of Stamping machines

Continue improvement/ implementation to meet the OEE target set for production.

Work with tooling department for tool maintenance & improvement

Work with QA for Set up/ In-process approval process. Close Process Failure Report (PFR)

Work with Production/ Process Engineer for any new testing/ improvement program

Perform tooling set up the machine as per the daily planned schedule and run the machine according to quantity planned.

Perform daily machine inspection/ sensor verification and record as per Work Instructions.

Requisite material as per planned production order for daily activities.

Proper documentation record to ensure compliance with quality standards.

5S - Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

Other Adhoc jobs arranged by Superior/ Manager

Any abnormal, potential risk/ safety relate due to machine failure, the tool up after the machine rectified.

Job Specification:

Minimum N Level and or NTC 3 in any discipline (preferred).

Minimum 2 years in handling stamping press machines.

Stamping process & operational understanding in the machines handled Basic safety awareness in manufacturing and stamping press machines.

Ability to interpret basic drawings, understanding of records updating.

Have tooling knowledge and able to troubleshoot to tweak the tool.

Knowledge/ hand on in grinding will be added advantage.

Ability to handle progressive tools.

Physically strong, positive attitude, ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
