As the legal head of global business, you will fully support the compliance expansion and risk control of global business, provide legal protection for the company's strategic landing in key markets such as Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe, and help the deep integration of AI technology and internationalization business.
Core responsibilities
1. Global business legal support
Provide full-process legal support for overseas subsidiary establishment, mergers and acquisitions, cooperation, including architecture design, negotiation, document drafting, and compliance implementation.
Support the localization operation of overseas offices to ensure compliance with local labor, tax, data privacy, advertising and marketing laws and regulations.
2. Contract and transaction management
Lead the negotiation and risk review of major overseas customer contracts, supplier agreements, technical cooperation (including AI product authorization and data cooperation), etc.
Establish and optimize the international business contract standard system, balance business innovation and risk management.
3. Construction of compliance and risk control system
Build compliance frameworks for different jurisdictions, focusing on data security (such as GDPR, local data laws), advertising law, intellectual property, and AI ethics regulation.
Develop cross-border dispute resolution strategies in response to overseas regulatory investigations, litigation and arbitration, and emergencies.
4. Team and resource collaboration
Manage external law firm resources to optimize global legal service costs.
Provide legal training for overseas business teams to enhance compliance awareness.
Job requirements
1. Educational background and qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in law from well-known domestic and foreign law schools, holding the qualification to practice law in China and common law countries.
2. Experience requirements
More than 8 years of legal practice experience, with experience in cross-border transactions of leading law firms/overseas legal affairs of technology companies, and a mixed working background is preferred.
Deeply involved in full-cycle legal support for business expansion in overseas markets (especially emerging markets such as South East Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America).
Familiar with legal regulations in fields such as AI, data compliance, and digital advertising. Experience in AI technology Enterprise Services is preferred.
3. Competency traits
Excellent bilingual communication and negotiation skills in Chinese and English (working language is English), able to adapt to cross-time zone collaboration.
Sharp business thinking, able to quickly understand AI technology and marketing business logic, and provide practical solutions.
Possessing a strategic perspective to build a scalable legal compliance system in a rapidly evolving environment.
