Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support onboard vessels for installation, service and repair work on the marine mechanical and control systems for thrusters, Gearbox and pleasure craft products.
• Support to shipyard to check and assess the thruster, gearbox and pleasure craft products
• Provide technical assistance, supplying the Sales Support team with required information.
• Provide technical solutions to sub-contractors and meet the job completion targets, while keeping the Company's quality standards and safety requirements. Manage costs, schedule and technical product development.
• Work within a regional matrix in support of the overall growth of the Marine business.
• Remain aware about the Company's compliance rules and policies, thereby maintaining full transparency towards Company's management and customers with regards to representation and commercial agreements.
• Work under extreme condition in the engine and boiler room on the mechanical and hydraulics systems.
• Install new products and test them to ensure they are working correctly.
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them. Order parts needed for repairs if needed.
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
• Explain Issues with equipment and repairs to customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers.

Requirements:

• Candidate possess a Diploma or ITE or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in the related field.
• Proficient skills in in MS Office (especially Word).
• Good team player who is proactive, independent and resourceful.
• Willing to travel offshore and overseas when required.
