Responsibilities:

  • Coordinated and monitored end-to-end project shipments, ensuring timely updates and smooth communication with customers.
  • Prepared and verified shipping and customs documentation for project cargo, maintaining 100% compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
  • Planned and executed cargo collection and delivery schedules with contractors, consistently meeting shipping line and co-loader cut-off times.
  • Secured COD payments prior to the release of Bills of Lading or cargo delivery, safeguarding company revenue.
  • Responded promptly to operational inquiries, providing accurate and solutions-oriented support to customers and partners.
  • Closed job files within tight deadlines, enabling accurate and timely month-end financial reporting.
  • Supported sales growth by following up on leads and inquiries from overseas agents and offices, contributing to new business opportunities.
  • Assisted in establishing new project services and groupage solutions, improving service offerings to clients.
  • Reviewed vendor invoices against quotations, rejecting discrepancies to ensure cost control and budget compliance.
  • Collaborated closely with the Head of Operations on additional operational duties to support overall project success.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certificate in Transport Logistics or related field is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in import/export documentation (Air, Ocean, Land)
  • Good understanding of carriers, contractors, and shipping procedures.
  • Preferred experience with shipping procedures and operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing documentation and operational tasks.
