This role exists to ensure the seamless coordination, communication, and execution of strategic, operational, and administrative functions across the client's China's development and investment projects. By acting as a key interface between headquarters and local teams, overseeing budget and compliance reporting, driving brand consistency through proactive digital and identity management, and ensuring smooth cross-functional operations, the role directly supports the client's strategic objectives in China by enhancing operational effectiveness, upholding corporate governance, and strengthening brand presence in key markets.
Job Description
- Liaise between HQ departments (AP, IS, HR, Admin, CSS, CCD, BSM/Marketing) and local teams to align operations, project updates, and business processes.
- Manage internal and external enquiries, direct them to relevant stakeholders, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate cross-functional tasks and reporting to support project and operational effectiveness.
- Lead the planning, drafting, and publishing of bilingual content on the client's China's website and WeChat.
- Collaborate with Marketing, CCD, and vendors for content creation, performance analytics, and recommend improvements.
- Take initiative in drafting, reviewing, and implementing corporate identity and branding materials to strengthen brand consistency and appearance across all local platforms.
- Consolidate and submit routine reports (e.g. risks, fraud, compliance) to HQ on time.
- Coordinate and ensure accurate documentation and filings with Chinese authorities across over 50 China entities.
- Oversee AML-CFT and ABAC eLearning enrolment and completion tracking for local teams.
- Take charge of annual budget preparation for China's branch.
- Monitor and track departmental expenses.
- Review and process operational and administrative memos, approvals, and support documentation.
- Oversee business travel, meeting logistics, and daily administrative functions.
- Maintain up-to-date and organised records of correspondence, contracts, and official documents.
- Coordinate with vendors for digital content, technical support, and service delivery related to China's online platforms.
- Lead the facilitation of annual contract renewals and negotiate favourable terms to optimise cost and service.
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline with minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge in MS Office. IT and smart devices savvy.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and facilitation skills
- Meticulous, resourceful, and creative in problem-solving
- Able to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
