 Job Description:

Responsibilities

Managing of Operational Related Matters

  • Conduct periodical reviews of the general operation, identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop / implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
  • Resolve all operational issues at the DCs and provide guidance and support to DEs in ensuring the smooth operation of the DCs that is under your purview.
  • Manage the growth and development of DEs by identifying learning needs and opportunities.
  • Responsible for raising non-clinical incident reports.
    Work closely with the nurse manager in preparation of obtaining DC license, DC license renewal and internal/external audits.
  • Coordinate the setting up of new DCs together with BLD/FM.

Stock and Product Management

  • Ensure optimise usage of DCs storage space and actively monitor stock replenishment process in all DCs together with DEs.
  • Responsible for the new product evaluation feedback and reporting of defective products.

Events Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments (DVM, CCO, ComCare and Allied Health) to ensure programmes and events planned for the DC is being carried out smoothly

Asset and Equipment Management

  • Responsible for the yearly asset verification exercise.
    Responsible for the dialysis chairs/medical fridge maintenance and repair.
  • Work closely with BME to ensure that all medical equipment in the DC are fully functioning.

Others

  • Implement foundation policies & initiatives at the DCs.
    Work closely with the Nursing Zone Lead, nurse manager, Infection Control team and other supporting departments to deliver high healthcare standards.
  • Collating of data for project, drafting of administrative papers and coordinating meetings and events and prepare presentations.
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties on operational issues.
  • Participate in foundation and/or functional group, DC activities.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experiences
  • Candidates with previous working experience in a healthcare setting will have an added advantage
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and work in a team
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and coordination skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
