To identify and develop production, packaging, analytical or filtration technology for high purity Process Chemicals products by transferring from other Electronic Materials Process Chemical sites or by collaborate with other business units. Will be responsible for all technical aspects of packaging, providing technical support to the Quality Team and organizing or conducting technical training for employees.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Technology

Identify and develop production, packaging, analytical or filtration technology for high-purity Process Chemicals products by transferring from other Process Chemicals sites or by collaborating with other business units.

Specifically, the following projects have been identified during the contract period:

a. Responsible for technology transfer from other Process Chemicals sites to achieve commercialization of products.

b. Improve existing filtration at the Plant by evaluating newer technology and identifying new filtration technology for solvent purification.

c. Identify newer recycling technology and new recycled materials.

d. Identify and develop a technology roadmap to enhance Process Chemicals products differentiation from competitors. This roadmap will identify industry trends, customer needs and internal resources needed to achieve targeted technology levels.

2. Packaging

Responsible for all technical aspects of packaging such as:

a. Make representatives to the authority for a waiver to continue to use plastic and composite drums, together with external consultants.

b. Testing of metal drums and composite drums for flammables

c. Recommend new packaging for new Process Chemicals plant products.

d. Develop and improve Process Chemicals know-how for isotankers management/troubleshooting.

e. Organize any regulatory testing related to packaging.

f. Optimization of packaging by the selection of new packaging or change of existing packages.

3. Quality Technical Support

Support quality team for tasks highlighted below:

a. Provide technical support in troubleshooting any customers quality complaints or feedback in terms of technical writeup, hypotheses and recommended analytical testing for Process Chemicals products.

b. Provide technical support to the quality team for new product introduction or new supplier qualification.

The role of Technology Manager would be responsible for both buy/sell and plant product lines.

4. Coaching/Training

Organize or conduct technical training for employees as follows:

a. Uses, applications and quality requirements of Process Chemicals products.

b. Different types of packaging and regulatory regulations for packaging

c. Operational training for dip tube insertion teams

d. Maintain training materials in a shared team drive.

e. Coaching identified personnel from business, warehouse, and plant to improve the technical competence levels of different functions.

f. Other types of training or awareness courses as required.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Business Director.

Qualifications & Experience:

Min. bachelors degree in Chemical/ Materials/ Microelectronics Engineering will be preferred.

Relevant experience in the semiconductor chemicals industry especially in process chemicals will be an advantage.
