Roles and Responsibilities

• Implementation of new sourcing strategies within the electronics material group
• Initiation of supplier selection processes and leading selection projects within a global cross-functional team
• Creation and development of a preferred suppliers pool for our global R&D teams to meet cost, quality and performance targets and risk management goal
• Negotiation of prices and logistics agreements and global contracts for our global manufacturing network
• Supplier Management and Qualification: forecasting & demand planning, monitoring and reporting (supplier assessment) as well as supplier development

Requirements

• At least a diploma or bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in the electronics supply chain industry preferably with a lead buyer duty
• High travel readiness
