Permanent role (AWS Guaranteed + VB + Quarterly Bonus)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise transportation vendors to ensure their drivers are aware of their duties
• Responsible for managing the execution, direction and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation
• Responsible to gauge the transportation requirements of the shipment and devise a cost effective and feasible transport planning
• Maintain the department budget
• Manage schedule and routes so as to assure the smooth running of Road operations
• Communicating effectively with all the BU IFFO team and responding to their requirements before execute job to various sub-contractors ensuring they deliver within agreed terms
• Dealing with the effects of traffic congestion

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience on sea or Air freight
• Good working knowledge about vehicles and trucks
• Good interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people including drivers, IFFO, and senior members of the organization
• Able to provide quick solutions and improvise on existing ones
• Possess good communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly and make decision quickly
