Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor and review monthly Balance sheet account reconciliation.
2. Perform P&L analysis to ensure the integrity of local accounts.
3. Perform analysis and advice impact (where applicable) on Group policy due to changes in IFRS and other GAAP. Update Group policy when necessary.
4. Provide guidance to subsidiaries on Group policy and IFRS standard.
5. Identify training needs/courses for local entitys Finance members on various accounting system and Accounting policy.
6. Liaising with the external Auditor to ensure the audit reports for all subsidiaries are issued timely and accurately.
7. Prepare/review group and entities FS, NTA and any disclosure required for external reporting purposes.
8. Supervise and work on a Chart-of-Account manual based on a Master CoA.
9. Perform walkthrough of accounting process. Document the process, make recommendations and improvements to accounting process for follow-up.
10. Lead the implementation and development of new procedures and features to improve the workflow of the department and provide training to new or existing staff if necessary
11. Prepare a monthly consolidated management account and report to senior management and all relevant stakeholders
12. Perform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the company.

Qualifications & Experience (Skills / Knowledge / Attributes)

1. This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or ACCA, CPA or CA certified
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and BI. Competent in Accounting standards IFRS and IAS.
3. At least 6-8 years relevant working experience, with 3-5 years Financial Reporting role for MNC with multiple geographic locations, preferably experienced in manufacturing industry. BIG 4 is a plus.
4. Good IT skills, proficient in MS Excel, Word, Power-Point, Hyperion Financial management and Oracle or any other accounting software.
5. Experience in handling external auditors.Great communication, presentation, negotiation and customer customer service skills, verbal and oral
6. Strong analytical, interpersonal and supervisory skills
7. Detail oriented, self-motivated and organized with good understanding of financial and operational controls
8. Well-grounded knowledge and comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting according to international accounting standards (GAAP)
9. Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and strive well in a fast-paced work environment
10. Postgraduate degree in Accounting or MBA and Oracle.
