Job Description:
*Commonwealth Ave., Diliman, Quezon City 1101 Philippines
*3 days in office , 2 days in home
*Reporting: Head of solution based in Singapore
*Team size: 30 staff headcount in PH office. 5 direct reports under Head of Department across the regions.
The Solution Architect in Pre-Sales is the in-region expert for the retail solutions portfolio , including both commercial and technical details.
You will:
- Train and support company's direct sales teams and Channel Partners, including value proposition, competitive positioning, sales methodologies, pricing and technical specifications
- Be accountable for sales planning for the region, including producing a monthly rolling plan for prioritized focus end customers for direct sales teams and Channel Partners
- Contribute to the sales team in driving revenue by qualifying leads.
- Answer requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) at a detailed and professional level
- Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Working with sales managers to drive the pre-sales phase by software & professional services offering and provide product demonstrations functionality, system architecture, benefits, and others by interfacing with prospective and current customers and business partners (both at business and technical level)
- Identify, qualify and enable new business partners focused on solution selling
- Identify and support the creation of relevant in-region marketing materials to support company's direct sales teams and Channel Partners in the sales process

Naturally, to be successful in this role, you must have and know of:
- At least 10 years experience of successfully defining, developing and selling retail solutions
- Preferably, at least 5 years experience with Point of Sale solutions
- In-depth knowledge of general retail technologies, business and operational goals of our target market, to recommend a solution to their needs
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, Enterprise-wide systems
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferably degree educated, with a business or technology-focused degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable presentation skills
