Executive - Process Support (Contract till 31 March 2024 )

  • Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri) - Hybrid Work Arrangement
  • This is a Contract Role.
  • Period: Immediately to 31 March 2024
  • Salary: Up to $4,800.00

Objective of Job

  • To ensure and maintain the parts master data including prices, volume data, and all relevant indicator setup related to logistics business.
  • C-ordination with the central departments and all other involved partners / Systems related to pricing and parts information.
  • To provide system support for RLC functional unit in terms of daily business process.
  • Coordination with system administrators of service providers, customers and vendors on day-to-day system related tasks.

Task Description

1. Operative Tasks

  • Monitor and control all daily batch jobs including batch night jobs. Work with T-System Database administrators in case of error or job abend.
  • Check the inventory availability interfaces from Neovia and clarify in case of any discrepancies. Coordinate with LIMS responsible on the daily interface issues. Resolve and maintain good quality of data flow between SPICS and LIMS and suggest any possible improvements in the process.
  • Release new program versions for SPICS in production environment within agreed timeline with central SPICS management team (ITF/SL) and T-Systems Programmers
  • Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for all program changes in the test environment before releasing the changes in production system.
  • In case of system fault or error, report to ITF/SL and T-Systems programmers via SNOW ticketing system. If necessary, compile RLC-specific system changes, process documentation, and submit to the T-System development team.
  • Co-ordinate with T-systems and customer for establishing Ax-way CFT connection, testing and implementation.

2. Strategic Tasks

  • Co-ordinate sequence organization with SPICS-functionality by being first contact person for various departments within RLC Singapore in terms of optimizations/changes in parts master data information and price maintenance. Co-ordinate with the marketing responsible from vendors on the price discount sheet. Ensure correct price factors are being maintain in the TASI tables. Adjust control parameters and parameterize in test/prod environment independently.

3. System Operation StarOrder, other Logistiksbus systems/DIMS

  • Establish and ensure operational readiness of StarOrder system in the web application. Provide technical support in use of all Logistiksbus-connected systems and ensure user access. In case of operational fault use special support if necessary.
  • Co-ordinate with System colleagues in Germany to get access to RLCS employees and customers on the required systems.
  • Provide necessary authorization to access RLCS system (SPICS / StarOrder) by using ZBDB tool.
  • Co-ordinate with various system responsible to get access for different applications.
  • Act as a first level support for DIMS, training, user access administration.

4. Reporting

  • Prepare operational reports and support business units by providing various reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis to monitor the KPIs of operational excellence.
  • Co-ordinate with RuC (Reporting and Controlling) responsibles in Germany for new access creation, data missing or discrepancy.

5. Documentation & Training

  • Prepare documentation / working instructions for all the IT tasks, Process changes, system releases.
  • Train the users upon implementation of changes or new release of programs.

Qualifications

  • Trained in SPICS-specific applications: TASI, TSHN, AJM, AJMS, B93, JVS, MQ-Series, PRMS, ZBDB, LIMS, NASA.

Experience (type of)

  • Experience in IBM Mainframe OS/390
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications & reporting tools, MS Outlook
  • Basic knowledge on computer hardware and networking

Specific Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge in the area of supply chain / Logistics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
