Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Tai Seng Area

Salary Range: S$7,000 to S$10,000

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the general accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, P&L statements & taxes)

• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with established schedule

• In-charge of preparing, review and reconcile / analyze financial statements (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end) to ensure accuracy & completeness

• Preparation of audit & tax schedules, and liaise with auditors & tax agents

• Handle budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

• Reviewing of quarterly GST returns, tax computation and handling of tax queries from authority

• Review and improvisation of accounting and financial workflows/frameworks and systems.

• Reviewing and improvisation of financial planning & analysis activities

• Prepare and liaise with stakeholders for quarterly board meeting preparation, including board paper, detailed analysis and presentation slides.

• Managing budgeting and financial planning process

• Review financial statements of portfolio companies

• Manage the evaluation of investments made by company

• Perform any ad-hoc analysis of projects when required

• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts (verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies)

• Review, recommend and implement financial policies to tighten financial compliance

• Attend to annual audit by external auditors. Ensuring timely submission of annual filing as per statutory requirements

• Conduct periodical internal audit

• Secure financial information by completing database backup ,and complying to legal requirements

Requirements:

• Min 10 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis, preferably in a public listed company

• ACCA / CPA equivalent preferred

• Experience in IPO processes is a must

• Proven experience in SAP implementation with full cycle from data migration to Go Live after support

• Experience with XERO accounting system

• Experience in working with multi business entities within a Group, and financial reporting requirements

• Possess knowledge of Singapore Stock Exchange Market and regulatory environment is a plus

• Ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
