Business Development Manager

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the developer community through market research, networking, and other strategies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new clients and partners for our developer relations as a service offering
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients in the developer community
  • Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the developer relations team, to identify and assess potential business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver presentations/proposals to potential clients and partners in the developer community
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date on competitors activities in the developer relations community
  • Achieve and exceed annual business development targets for our developer relations

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Experience with market research and analysis
  • Familiarity with the developer community and experience working with developers would be an advantage
