Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing three sites with a workforce ranging from 150 to 180 employees
  • Provide strategic leadership and directions to manage daily warehouse operations.
  • Enforce process compliance and ensure operations meet and achieve customers expectation and KPIs.
  • Accountable for the P&L performance for the responsible programs in scope, managing expenditures within defined budgets.
  • Defining operational requirements and implementing new strategies, technologies, and initiatives to enhance overall performance.
  • Continuously engage customers on commercial, operational scope of work and contract renewals.
  • Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the warehouse.
  • Monitoring departmental budgetary control and resource allocation for optimal utilization.
  • Continuously seeking improvement opportunities along the value chain, to streamline and re-engine the processes to achieve and exceed the service standard or target.
  • Establish and cultivate a good team culture of best practice sharing within the program to motivate staffs to voice out their opinions.
  • Plan and provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve work performance and productivity.
  • Ensure stock inventory accuracy and records are kept up to date.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of storage and office areas. Holding accountability for quality PPM.
  • Driving and delivering yearly CIP commitments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managerial position.
  • Proven track record of managing over 100 headcount.
  • Qualification in warehouse operations and operations excellence will be added advantage.
  • Results oriented self-starter, analytical and innovative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Access, VBA)
  • Proficient in using and creating operations dashboards to identify focus areas and drive improvement (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience in presenting to senior management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively and innovatively.
  • Good knowledge in latest automation technologies and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills to continuously encourage and motivate employees.
