Responsibilities

• To use correct procedures to fill pure gas and gas mixtures.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
• Familiarity with the filling panel, scales, vacuum pump, liquid pumps, compressors, painting and valving machines and cylinder drying oven.
• Completion of filling forms as required.
• Current license for forklift truck.
• Selection of the most appropriate technique for filling gas.
• Loading/offloading of trucks/containers as requested.
• Painting of cylinders to appropriate standards.
• Connection/disconnection and running of the cylinder drying ovens.
• QC check of final goods prior to despatch.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Results oriented individual who is conscientious about quality & safety
• Mechanical & technical competence in all processes of gas production & analysis.
• Mechanical knowledge in plant equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of all pure and specialty gas.
