Job Responsibilities

• Perform materials planning and purchasing to fulfil sales needs
• Request/ source quotation from vendor for each inquiry and negotiate with pricing
• Monitor/ review inventory stocking policy to ensure good balance between assurance of supply with minimal inventory holding. Follow by MRP & minimum inventory level
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts needed based on companys agreed inventory stocking policy
• Issue Certified of Origin (COO) and Certificate of quantity & quality (COQ) for Genset Assembly
• Ensures accuracy of all orders and follow-up (telephone/ email communication) with suppliers.
• Liaise, arrange and monitor shipments with forwarder.
• Monitor delivery with local and oversea suppliers
• Monitor shipment to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods
• Prepare documents such as Import product checklist, import shipment checklist and etc for warehouse checking purpose
• Confer or correspond with supplier to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules
• Requisition and maintain inventories of silencer to meet customer demands
• Generate report from SAP system for analysis when required
• Item master creation in SAP system
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists
• Plan for shipment consolidation to cut down shipping cost
• Arrange courier service for other brands product/ DDVOR
• Review PRS to make sure within lead time before issue order

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Business Studies
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• SAP experienced
