Conference Producer Head (MICE)

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • In-depth industry research to outline a commercially successful conference program and ongoing digital content opportunities
  • Research on industry trends, copywriting and conceptualizing content with team members and professionals to get market input for content writing
  • Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant market stakeholders from technology/service providers, and government officials
  • Build and maintain relationship with advisory committees, recruiting and managing high profile speakers, performing effective communication with content partners, advisory committee, speakers bureau
  • Speaker identification and acquisition of both technical and strategic (including c-suite) industry influencers and business leaders
  • Overseeing technical conference call for papers campaigns and managing the submissions, review and evaluation processes
  • Take part in regular internal project meetings to ensure effective communications within the team and project timelines are properly managed

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 - 8 years experience in B2B large-scale conferences as a leading producer across in-person and digital conferences at international level
  • Experience in producing and managing integrated event campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and brand preferences (in-person and digital conferences)
  • Commercial and customer-focused mindset, and an eye to translate market requirements into a well-written program
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial curiosity to find out more about new developments in relevant markets and sectors
  • Propose new event concepts through research, development and evaluation of commercially driven topics
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to deliver project deliverables according to deadlines
  • Experience in the management of a team, leading that team to successful accomplishment of its goals.
  • Willing to collaborate with internal teams to optimize the overall event performance
