Job Descriptions

• Updating/maintaining general ledger and month end journal closing entries
• Assisting in month end and yearend closing
• Assist with internal/external audits, prepare audit schedules and NTAs
• Perform cost allocation for management reporting
• Calculate and prepare journals for tax accounting
• Perform reconciliations for balance sheets accounts, including intercompany
• Prepare balance sheets schedules
• Prepare data for direct and indirect tax filing
• Assist in annual stock take
• Assist in periodic management reporting
• Perform other duties as directed

Competencies:

• Thorough knowledge of accounting and ledger procedures,
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective problem-solving to identify and correct financial discrepancies
• Adequate IT knowledge and application of accounting software, e.g. Oracle (any ERP)/WMS/Hyperion/Essbase, application and data interfacE
• Written and verbal communication skills to share accounting information when needed
• Proficient in speaking/writing English & Mandarin
• Strong knowledge of Oracle (any ERP)/UiPath (RPA)/Hyperion/Essbase is an advantage, application and data interface
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Experience collaborating with other team members

Requirements:

• Related Diploma and Degree from a recognized institution
• Prior experience is related field in preferrable, Junior 13 Years, Senior 35 years
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting
• High degree of accuracy and attentive to detail
• Organized, meticulous and sensitive to anomalies in processing transactions
• Ability to work on a team and independently
• Open minded team player
