Area Restaurant General Manager

Working Hours : 44 hours / week

Salary Range : Up to S$5,000 Per month



Responsibilities:

  • Hold accountability to the revenue, profitability, quality goals, restaurant operation, high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards of 2 to 3
  • restaurants.
  • Regular communications with restaurant managers, area manager and office support teams to share and facilitate information to the ground staff.
  • Operation coverage when unforeseen circumstances such as manpower shortage.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and guide restaurant teams to respond efficiently and accurately to customer feedbacks, views etc.
  • Provide feedback to restaurant teams to improve productivity.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut wastage.
  • Forecast future needs for food ingredients, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
  • Ensure all restaurants are in comply with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Analyse the workforce/manpower of the restaurants and recommend methods to better manage and organize shifts in the restaurants.
  • Appraise performance of managers and staff for career development and succession planning.
  • Prepare detailed revenues and expenses reports on weekly, monthly and annually, and present to the Management.
  • Coach and mentor new and current managers on proper staff training in customer service practices and food safety procedures.
  • Share and discuss policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as deem necessary to perform and assigned by the Management.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Food & Beverage Management and/or Hospitality from a recognized hospitality/tertiary institution
  • 8 years and above of proven work experience as a Senior Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar role in F&B, preferably in a fast-food environment
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS and payroll system
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Valuable experience in quality control systems, training or similar
  • Ability to transmit ideas and vision in both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and multitask environment
  • Positive work attitude and a high level of energy
  • Able to commerce work immediately or within short notice
