Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for provisioning, maintaining and supporting day-to-day operations on network & security infrastructure including network administration and wireless management.
• Managing Wireless Environment with WLAN Controller (Extreme, Aruba, Fortinet)
• Provide L2 technical support and diagnose problems through onsite or remote troubleshooting
• Be a single point of contact for all network and connectivity matters including developing solutions
• Research hardware and software solutions and create plans, including layouts and product specifications, for all data communication networks resulting from meeting
• Perform asset lifecycle management on all network assets including maintaining of inventory , tech refresh, preventive maintenance and disposal.
• Schedule maintenance to the LAN or WAN and ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability
• Maintain network documentation (Diagrams, IP listings, Contracts, Subscriptions, Licenses etc )
• Work with other contractors where required for delivery of network services
• Any other IT duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• Recognized degree in Information Technology, Computer/Network Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT
• Possess Cisco CCNA/ CCNP certification or other equivalent network certification
• Ability to configure and administer firewalls, core switches, wireless network devices
• Ability to configure and administer endpoint protection software and security and monitoring tools eg. SIEM, Solarwinds, Forti Analyzer
• Server administration and security knowledge or experience is an advantage
• Strong in critical thinking and analytical skills
• A great team player and able to work well with other team members
• Able to communicate well, handle documentation and explaining network and IT architecture
