Location: North

Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end cost reporting and analysis
• Provide estimated costing for new products and products under R&D
• Set-up cost structure and allocation basis for product costing and profitability analysis
• Maintain and review standard cost for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods
• Prepare and maintain gross profit check for finished goods
• Create, activate and maintain item code
• Create service codes for intercompany billing
• Monthly inventory closing and journal posting
• Cost roll-up and update for semi-finished and finished goods
• Performing physical stocks counts for year-end closing and ad hoc count when required
• Process improvement to help management make sound decisions
• Participate in projects where costing input is required
• Lead the costing team. Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by management from time to time

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy
• A minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Preferably with experience using Microsoft AX or other ERP.
• Proficient with MS office applications especially in Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, procedures.
