Responsibilities:

- Liaise & coordinate purchases with oversea & local suppliers. Manage & control all purchasing activities from order placement to supplier payment.

- Plan for correct quantity of materials. Manage inventory to an optimal level to support sales & production. Establish safety stock for standard stocking items.

- Ensure timely delivery of goods from overseas and local suppliers.

- Manage freight costs consolidate shipment to reduce freight charges. Analyse & choose the most economic mode of transport.

- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve more profitable deals.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.

- Manage warehouse operation, monitor logistics and personnel to make sure they run smoothly.

- Support new project development & production.

- Expand the supply chain network and explore and establish the new suppliers.

- Administer material master list, production BOM & sales BOM creation using SAP.

- Ensure supply chain processes meet ISO / legal requirements and standards.

- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery material shortages & etc)

- Train and guide employees.

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in supply chain, procurement or related fields.

- At least 5 years in managing supply chain operations for manufacturing company

- Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.

- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Tools.

- Strong analytical capability, excellent negotiation, and planning skills
