Senior Regional Supply Chain Planner (MNC/1 yr contract/$9400)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
SUPPLY PLANNING:
- Maintain semi-finished planning parameters to ensure production plans are appropriate and are aligned with internal and external plant capabilities in Asia Regional Distribution Center.
- Manage sales forecast plan and cutover plan to supply planning for bulk planning and minimize inventory exposure and maintain healthy inventory level.
- Perform batch allocation of semi-finished goods to be used for the secondary packaging production to finished goods
- Develops purchase orders and work order to sites in a timely and efficient manner to assure semi-finished goods and packaging materials are in optimal level to support secondary packaging in RDC.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Assess current inventory levels of packaging materials and semi-finished goods at RDC and determine the appropriate quantity and timing for phase-in and phase-out.
- Determine the potential write-offs and manage all rejected/non-conforming/excess material through the SLOB & Write-off Process.
- Performs monthly inventory reconciliations and process goods receiving in system.
SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Proactively seek and build continuous engagement with the suppliers to shape services and improve value delivered to our supply chains
MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT
- Provide first level contact for items related to master data element and parameter maintenance.
- Review, collect, update and maintains material master including material master, price update, vendor and customer master creation etc in ERP system.
- Supports MDM projects and participate in both internal and external discussion related to master data enquiry and requirement.
EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Planning, Supplier Management, Production planning or related field
- Solid knowledge of Supply Chain and Material Management Systems.
- 5 years of Supply Chain Planning / Inventory Management experience in the healthcare/pharma business.
- Knowledge and experience in the Forecasting, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Project management is highly desirable.
- Basis understanding and working knowledge of international business and pharmaceutical cGMP and GDP regulations.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- CMO environment with procurement experience (have worked with or in) is a plus.
- APICS Certification (CSCP or CPIM) is a plus
