Senior Research Fellow
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards new virtual healthcare projects and manage tasks on the evaluation of existing vCare programs in the areas of telemonitoring, telecollaboration, connected ward ecosystem and virtual care centre, under the supervision of Project Directors and individual Project Team Leads.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Successfully manage projects from start-up to completion.
- Study protocol development
- Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses.
- Oversee study compliance to the ethics requirements and local regulations
- Supervision of quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
- Development of scientific papers and the dissemination of the study findings
- Preparation of proposals for new grants
- Conduct literature reviews, including systematic reviews.
- Mentoring junior staff
- Engage with healthcare professionals and collaborators to support research activities.
Job Requirements
- Hold a PhD in public health or health services research
- Minimum 2 years working experience as a post-doc fellow.
- Proficient in a range of quantitative and ideally qualitative research methodologies.
- Proficient in use of standard statistical or qualitative software e.g. STATA, SPSS, NVivo.
- Has experience or worked in a cohort or population-based study
- Good scientific writing skills as demonstrated by track records of publications in international peer-reviewed journals
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Be organised and able to prioritise workload
