 Job Description:

Job Summary

The Senior/ Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist under the general supervision of the EHS Manager.

The position will be responsible for the overall EHS programs and processes for multiple manufacturing plants based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of the EHS program and EHS Culture initiatives for facilities

Management of the EHS Tier II program and new process introduction to facilities

Ensure compliance with local EHS legislation and company internal requirements

Ensure EHS programs are aligned with corporate EHS policies, objectives & targets, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651 requirements

To collaborate with all levels of stakeholders in the facilities on EHS-related matters

Lead the Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) requirements in all the facilities (incl routine inspection, training, and audit)

Lead in workplace incident investigation (including Process Safety related incidents), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and updating in company system and submitting to authority.

Support Industrial Hygiene and Environmental monitoring activities in the plants and warehouses

Drive green environmental initiatives, ergonomic projects, and continuous improvement projects in the facilities

Act as Secretary for EHS committee meeting

Requirement

Bachelors degree or Diploma in a related field (safety, environmental, chemical engineering, or equivalent).

3-5 years of experience, preferred experience in electronic, semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical industry, or similar manufacturing environment

Register Workplace Safety & Health Officer License

Fire Safety Manager License

Having Process Safety Knowledge is an additional advantage

Good knowledge of Singapores environmental, occupational safety and health regulations.

Business Able to work across functional areas and levels of the organization, project team organization and building, problem recognition and solving.

Behavioral Proactive, Self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Liaise and coordinate with different functional departments and members

Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Teams
