Freight Planning Executive

 Job Description:

Industry: Freight Forwarding

Location: East

Permanent role


Responsibilities:

  • Direct communication with Airlines on space allocation
  • Airlines Rates Procurement and negotiation
  • Maintain good carrier relationship
  • Update and disseminate carriers notices / information on surcharge updates
  • Good knowledge of flight routes & visibility of airline costing
  • Co-ordinate with export operations to ensure accuracy in documentation, electronic data transfer and invoicing through forwarding sub-ledger
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless support, high customer satisfaction, high productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year experience in Air Freight
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and technical skills
  • Experience in Cargowise will be added advantage
  • Willing to take on challenges
  • Resourceful, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
