Responsibilities:

• Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring duties.
• Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
• Timely response to incidents/ breaches within Central Office.
• Assist with 24/7 NOC phone line and emails.
• Assist with cable diversion related queries and notifications towards RLs.
• Perform fibre network monitoring and fault management.
• Manage network outage notifications to customers.
• Coordination of operation activities.
• Layer 1 (fibre optic) network analysis and troubleshooting.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or NITEC in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or relevant field.
• No Experience welcome to apply as on the job training provided
• 1 or more years of professional work experience in the Security Operation Center (SOC) environment will be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
  
• Proficient in task tracking and reporting.
• Possess strong analytical skill and has a flair for dealing with technical and operational problems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GPON technology, Fibre Optics (dark fibre infrastructure) will be advantageous.
• Committed and good team player.
