Responsibilities

• Manage a team of finance staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts.
• Analyse and interpret financial data to provide management information on cost allocation and controls, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis.
• Review investment portfolio Equities, Bonds and Fixed Deposit.
• Present Financial Report to the ExCo and Board members.
• Establish and maintain accounting practices and internal controls to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
• Responsible for providing financial system requirements for all interfaces and new system.
• Involve in the development and implementation of new accounting systems to improve business financial reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and other ad-hoc projects.
• Liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audit.
• Check and approve GST returns.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• At least 5 to 7 years' experience, preferably with 3 years of experience in managerial position.
• Possess a high level of financial literacy and modelling.
• Knowledgeable in financial managements reporting, analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Sound knowledge of accounting systems and audit experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, pro-active and results oriented
• Good presentation, communications and interpersonal skills.
