Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for provisioning, maintaining and supporting day-to-day operations on cloud and on-prem systems, storages and databases including administering systems security and monitoring tools, Google Workspace, Websites, office automation systems and databases
• Assist in developing and sustaining BCP and maintaining an effective backup and restore capability
• Provide L2 technical support and diagnose problems through onsite or remote troubleshooting
• Be a single point of contact for all systems and databases related matters including developing solutions
• Research hardware and software solutions and create plans, including layouts and product specifications, for requirements involving systems solutioning
• Perform asset lifecycle management on all systems assets including maintaining of inventory, tech refresh, preventive maintenance and disposal
• Schedule maintenance to the compute and storage resources and ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability
• Maintain systems documentation (Diagrams, Technology stack, Contracts, Subscriptions, Licenses etc)
• Work with other contractors where required for delivery of systems and services
• Any other IT duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT
• Possess MCSE or MCSA certification and certifications related to VMWare and Azure administration or equivalent
• Ability to configure and administer on-prem servers, storages, databases and Azure resources
• Ability to configure and administer document management and workflow systems
• Demonstrated ability in designing, implementing and maintaining data backup and recovery
• Network administration and IT security knowledge or experience is an advantage
• Strong in critical thinking and analytical skills
• A great team player and able to work well with other team members
• Able to communicate well, handle documentation and explaining IT architecture
