Executive Inventory Management (1 Year Contract)

 Job Description:

Location: Tuas (Company transport provided)

Industry: German MNC Automotive

Working hours: 9am 6pm (Mon-Fri)

This is a 1-Year Contract role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inventory operational inquiries from the customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Support market's initial stocking activity for new models
  • Arrange ad-hoc buyback process of critical parts, required by other logistics locations
  • Plan and prepare initial stocking for service campaign parts
  • Manage the assortment of export control items and ensure necessary system parameter setup
  • Liaise with central teams to carry out parts returns and scrapping activities of obsolete parts
  • Analyze key performance indicators and provide the regular reports
  • Manage shelf-life items to maintain an optimal stock level and minimize scrap cost
  • Handle delivery discrepancy report and arrange reordering of parts

Job Requirement:

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a supply chain/logistics related role
  • Proficient in MS office applications & reporting tools
  • Experience using an inventory management system
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and time management skills
