Responsibilities

• Responsible to conceptualize, design, develop and prepare costing for the design of Automation Equipment either in Cleanroom or Factory; typically from concept to completion with design changes during the manufacturing stage with a team of members
• Exhibit a level of creativity and ingenuity, as well as problem solving skills, to provide reliable, cost-effective solutions to design issues and attend to Customers enquiries
• Creation and execution of continuous improvement in projects to enhance the reliability and lower the cost of existing platform systems
• Ability to plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time and also work within the projects budget
• Check and advise teams work for technical accuracy to meet Customers requirement
• Assume the role of Engineer-in-charge to liaise with Customer on product requirement & Design & Commissioning of the product in Customers facility
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience 
• Proficiency in Solid Works 2D/3D and AutoCAD is a must 
• Good knowledge of design control requirements for IEC, UL, ISO9000 and SOP39
• Ability to prepare and understand detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings using Solid Works Mechanical/AutoCAD and able to understand Engineering documents 
• Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized; able to work under tremendous stress environment
