Engineer/Senior, Software Engineering (up to $6k)

• Leads in the design, development and implementation of software activities according to the achievement plans using approved engineering processes per the Product and Process Development procedure and the Common Software Process to meet Customer requirements
• Leads in the design, development and verification of software for new products
• Leads in the design and development of modular software algorithms
• Design and develop defect free software for new automotive applications
• Leads in the promotion and implementation of structured software development process and methodology
• Implements the Common Software Process in all software activities
• Provides technical resources to the software competency
• Interface well with multi-disciplinary team to acquire team goals within department cost and quality objectives
• Provides software support to manufacturing for existing products
• Meets Departmental Cost / Quality / EIT objectives
• Designs and develops new products to meet Design center requirements
• Provides technical support to production start-up
• Develop new technology and processes
• Meets departmental Cost and Quality objectives
• Interacts with vendors / suppliers in product developmental stage

Requirement

• Degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Degree with minimum 5 years experience in the design and development of embedded control systems software using C or Assembly languages
• Knowledge and understanding of micro-controllers and microprocessors
• Knowledge of automotive audio and communication products, structure design and analysis techniques preferred.
