Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and supervise Quality Control (QC) team
• Assist Quality Manager in driving and applying risk management principles based on the analysis of context of organization, formulate goals and objectives to address risk and opportunities as part of organization strategy and performance indicators.
• Ensure all the QC laboratory analytical and mechanical machine/equipment are running effectively to support the operation and business.
• Lead the troubleshooting of machine/equipment, root cause(s) investigation and come out with corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is maintained and verify system effectiveness on periodic basis. Rectify if there is any issue or abnormality.
• Manage, review and control QC lab analytical machine/equipment calibration.
• Work with Maintenance to ensure proper preventive maintenance program is in place and sufficient spare parts are available for the mechanical machine/equipment.
• Develop and implement Capex projects for QC laboratory.
• Ensure all Capex projects are implemented according to the schedule and within the budget.
• Support Quality Manager & QA in managing and handling customer complaint, customer feedback and related investigation.
• Ensure all CAPA actions related to QC function are track and close accordingly.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Chemistry
• At least 5 - 10 years working experience in Quality Control function.
• Experience in troubleshooting issue related to GC, HPLC, FTIR and other QC instrument and equipment etc.
• Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar quality systems and experience in quality audits.
