Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and coordinating Projects end-to-end Freight forwarding and Logistics services.
• Responsible for project performance in terms of safety, quality, schedules, cost and Billing.
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for all aspects of the project services.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that activities come together in a timely manner to meet the client requirements as per agreed processes.
• Ensures customer orders / Shipments are handled and released timely.
• Ensure that shipments milestones are communicated to the customer in a timely manner.
• Timely provide reports and other information to clients as the need arises.
• Provide input into the writing and review of departmental and Project SOPs.
• Coordinate Oversized Shipments and Charters and liaise with the various stakeholders.
• Is based within customer premises whenever required.
• Provide quotations / costings related to the project and obtain customers acceptance on the quoted rates.
• Ensure that Corrective and Preventive actions related to the project (if any) are duly issued and recorded in our progress platform .
• Attend customers meeting for regular operational reviews and or special matters.
• Set up Continuous improvements targets (Quality, Costs, Processes, and productivity).

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 7 years' experience in freight forwarding (seafreight & airfreight)
• Oil & Gas and / or Industrial Projects background preferred
• Cargowise knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work independently, meticulous, self-motivator and a team player
• Ability to cope in fast pace environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• DGR trained would be an advantage
