Service Sales Manager (SEA) - Global Marine & Navy

This is a Permanent role.

The role of GM&N Service Sales Manager (SEA) is part of a global strategy to develop our focus on Service growth in India, Korea, Singapore & Malaysia. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will lead a dedicated team of sales professionals, targeting the growth of our service

repairs and maintenance base. There is opportunity to grow and develop the team as we find

success in our target markets. The role is focused on winning new service business, including

increasing share-of-wallet and cross-selling additional products and services to new and existing customers. Working closely with and supported by our inside sales teams, you will lead the service sales growth initiative taking ownership for direct sales focus on key market segments.

What you will do:

  • Lead the execution of the Go-To-Market strategies in existing and new vertical markets (e.g. renewables) and employ enterprise tools and value selling concepts to deliver targeted growth
  • Take key learnings to continuously adapt our sales strategy to deliver success to ensure
  • strategies are achieved
  • Encourage use and effective adoption of Company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes/training
  • Blend field accompaniments with formal coaching conversations to ensure our field sales
  • teams are continuously improving, through relentless management of performance,
  • leveraging market and CRM data
  • Leverage the framework, tools and processes to ensure coaching is effectively focused on the needs of everyone in the team
  • Drive a high-performance culture and sales results through Level 11 application in Salesforce
  • Appropriate travel in order to properly support our sales professionals will be required as our GM&N sales team are located across the country
  • As our organization matures and, depending upon the location of customers and specific
  • opportunities in these markets, some degree of foreign travel may be required
  • As Salesforce.com is well established as the CRM tool within the business, our Marketing function is also able to support with external communications and tailoring customer campaigns

What we look for:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in developing new business, and ideally leading teams selling service contracts or similar
  • Experience in field sales and have in-depth knowledge of the complexities of relationship
  • selling as well as planning, business development, opportunity and pipeline management via informal and formal interactions to achieve channel objectives
  • Experience of Salesforce.com CRM application and experience within a large organization where matrix structures are common
  • Proven track record of achieving results as a Peoples Manager, leading a team of sales professionals in Marine Service industry.
